Concept for next fashion photo shoot…

Posted by: faithkeala on: February 19, 2010

I wanted to post some samples of the look and feelĀ  will be going for in the next fashion photo shoot.

I would like this shoot to happen in the morning down at balboa park. The light is best at this time and we won’t have to worry about too many people walking into our frame. Preferably on a Saturday or Sunday as I know we are all busy, busy, busy. The theme I am going for is fantasy/fairy tale because deep down I am really immature. Also because designing commercial stuff for a sports company all the time can get you stuck in a design rut. This will allow me to just be a girly-girl and have fun making image that I think are cool and to not have to worry about if it will bring in sales. So basically it is fun photo therapy! :)

I would like to enter my favorite shots from this shoot in the Funes Digital Arts Competition at the end of the Spring 2010 semester.

So think dramatic, romantic, over-the-top, I-never-get-to -wear this! Think alter-ego or favorite fairy-tale. It doesn’t necessarily need to be a fairy-tale, but I think it makes it more interesting if you have a story in mind for your “character”. If you have more than one idea and can’t decide, bring both. It’s always better to have too many ideas than not enough. Props are always good too. If you have an idea you want to go with, but you don’t have all the pieces, let me know and I will see if I can round up what we need to make it happen. Feel free to personalize it. I am not picky about it. I prefer that everybody feels confident and just has fun!

It can be simple or elaborate. My goal is imaginative!

The following are some sample photos to inspire!
